The Ausky is a cross between an Australian Cattle Dog and a Siberian Husky, both intelligent, active and enduring breeds. Not good for a family that is not active. Because of their parent breeds, Auskies are medium-sized, strong, athletic, and very agile. These muscley pups can grow to have a height of up to 23 inches and can weigh 60 pounds. Due to their Husky ancestry, they can have bright blue and brown eyes – one of each-or even marbled eyes! Treats, praise, and encouragement are all necessary to help train your Ausky. The Ausky is also not a breed that responds well to negative energy. Even after an hour-long session in either agility or obedience, you will still need to practice at home.
